About the Role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Technical and Logistic Support professional to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract position is focused on providing essential maintenance and support activities for the BEAM9 system. The primary objective is to ensure the partner's staff can effectively manage hardware, software, and support operations. This role is contingent upon obtaining the required security clearance.

Core Maintenance and System Support

The jobholder will be responsible for a range of maintenance and support duties, including:

• Supporting the Customer’s IT Administration team in daily monitoring and liaising with the Maintenance team in France for IT activities and suppliers for hardware replacement.
• Assisting the Customer’s Production team in day-to-day GEOINT/IMINT operations, administration, and coordinating with the Engineering team in France.
• Providing support for IT Training activities.
• Supporting all operations within KSA, including deployment, acceptance phases, and IT training initiatives.
• Contributing to the continuous process improvement of the platform by supporting the deployment of software and hardware updates and upgrades.

Customer Relationship Management

A key aspect of this role involves fostering strong customer relationships and ensuring service excellence. Responsibilities include:

• Participating in necessary meetings, conferences, or workshops with customers to maintain an appropriate level of service.
• Contributing to the reflection of customer expectations or requests within operational plans.
• Supporting the activity within its evolving context, which includes providing support to operational teams and delivering operational updates and requirements.

Communication and Operational Reporting

Effective communication and diligent reporting are integral to this position. Key tasks include:

• Ensuring regular reviews and updates on activities are provided to the team and the program manager.
• Setting up and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for monitoring maintenance and support activities.
• Capitalizing knowledge through documentation, procedure writing, and gathering good practices.
• Maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders involved in the platform, including the customer, back-office teams, providers, and partners.
• Supporting the deployment, lifetime operation, and performance management of all Maintenance Program deliverables.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this contract role should possess 0-1 years of experience in a technical or logistic support capacity. A foundational understanding of IT administration, hardware/software management, and operational support is beneficial. The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various teams, both local and international, is also important for success in this role.

Location and Employment Type

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is offered on a contract basis. The role requires active involvement in operations across KSA and close coordination with international engineering and maintenance teams.
