We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Data Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership across our data platforms. This role is crucial for ensuring legacy logic is accurately understood, target-state implementations align with architectural standards, and migration outputs are precise and thoroughly validated.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery for ETL, data modeling, Business Intelligence (BI), data quality, and data migration workstreams.
• Review current-state data pipelines, reports, data models, stored procedures, Master Data Management (MDM) flows, and platform dependencies.
• Translate architectural decisions into actionable technical tasks for the team.
• Guide and mentor ETL Developers, BI Developers, and Data Modelers during migration and delivery processes.
• Ensure existing business logic is accurately carried into the target architecture where required.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, consolidate, or retire legacy logic to improve efficiency and reduce complexity.
• Review source-to-target mappings, technical designs, code, data pipelines, and reconciliation outputs for accuracy and compliance.
• Enforce naming conventions, development standards, data lineage requirements, and deployment discipline across all data initiatives.
• Coordinate with the Data Architect on technical design decisions and manage exceptions.
• Provide support for issue resolution in both current and target data environments.
• Ensure the technical safety and validation of legacy system decommissioning processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess strong hands-on experience in enterprise data platforms, ETL processes, Data Warehousing (DWH), BI, and data migration.
• Demonstrate robust SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience with enterprise data tools such as Informatica, Oracle, DataStage, SSIS, Power BI, MDM, or DQ solutions.
• Exhibit the ability to lead technical teams and effectively resolve complex data-related issues.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position. The role requires 5-10 years of experience. Experience with target technologies such as dbt, Spark, Databricks, Fabric, Snowflake, or cloud data platforms is preferred. A strong understanding of source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, data quality principles, and migration validation is essential. The position is located in Riyadh, Riyadh Region.
