About the Role
Abunayyan Holding is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Proposal Writer to join its Business Development team in Riyadh. This full-time position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in bid management, proposal writing, and technical documentation within sectors such as Facilities Management, Construction, Engineering, or Professional Services.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Technical Proposal Writer will play a key role in the preparation and submission of high-quality technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and prequalification documents. This involves coordinating with various internal teams, developing comprehensive bid plans, and ensuring strict compliance with client requirements. The role requires translating complex technical information into clear, persuasive, and client-focused content.
- Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and prequalification documents.
- Coordinate proposal development activities with Business Development, Technical, Commercial, and Operations teams.
- Develop bid plans, schedules, and submission timelines to meet all deadlines.
- Review tender documents to ensure complete compliance with client requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Prepare executive summaries, methodology statements, cover letters, and company capability statements.
- Manage the review, approval, and submission process for all bids.
- Produce clear, persuasive, and technically accurate proposal content.
- Edit, proofread, and standardize proposal documents for consistency and professionalism.
- Maintain high-quality document formatting aligned with corporate branding and client specifications.
- Conduct research on clients, projects, competitors, and market opportunities.
- Analyze client feedback from submitted bids and recommend improvements to proposal strategies.
Bid Content Management
A significant aspect of this role involves developing, organizing, and maintaining the company's proposal content library. This includes ensuring all standard templates, project references, case studies, CVs, methodologies, organizational charts, and supporting documentation are accurate, current, and properly version-controlled to support continuous enhancement of proposal quality and efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A minimum of 4 years of experience in Technical Proposal Writing, Bid Management, or Tender Coordination is required. Previous experience within Integrated Facilities Management (IFM), Construction, Engineering, Building Services, or Professional Services is essential. Experience managing complete bid lifecycles and specific tendering experience in the GCC or Saudi Arabia are highly preferred.
