Technician CMD

About the Role

Zahid Tractor is seeking a Technician-CMD to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves the maintenance of equipment sold and serviced by the company. The Technician will report directly to the Service Supervisor or Branch Manager.

Role Overview

The Technician-CMD is responsible for the safe and efficient disassembly and assembly of machine, engine, and marine components, adhering to appropriate service literature. Key duties include performing pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and Technical Analysis Level 1 (TA1) on Caterpillar equipment, and installing attachments.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete work assignments according to established time requirement guidelines.
• Remove, install, disassemble, and assemble various components, including fuel systems, turbochargers, water pumps, air compressors, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic cylinders, engines, transmissions, and torque converters, following service literature.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and Technical Analysis Level 1 (TA1) safely and efficiently.
• Install attachments sold and serviced by the company.
• Comply with routine reporting requirements by completing necessary paperwork such as work orders, warranty documentation, and equipment time tracking.
• Maintain communication with the branch supervisor or shop managers regarding assigned work orders and pertinent details.
• Conduct safety assessments before and during jobs, organize workstations, and address unsafe conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with other company personnel and execute instructions accurately.
• Provide assistance to other department personnel as needed.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Service Supervisor or Manager, potentially specializing in specific areas.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to meet the requirements of a Technician Trainee/Talent Pool.
• Capability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in disassembling and assembling machine/engine/marine components.
• Strong understanding of service literature and technical guidelines.
• Ability to perform pre-delivery inspections and Technical Analysis Level 1.
• Adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Technician will work within a team environment, collaborating with supervisors and other personnel to ensure efficient service delivery.
