About the Opportunity

Deemah is seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our engineering processes and achieving established objectives through precise and effective action plans. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence and supporting production activities.

Role Purpose

The Technician is responsible for executing technical tasks that contribute directly to the engineering department's goals. This involves a blend of proactive maintenance, system management, and responsive support, all while adhering to stringent quality and procedural standards. The role requires a hands-on approach to technical challenges and a commitment to operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of department policies, procedures, and controls that govern all aspects of maintenance department activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant procedural and legislative requirements, including the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements as per ISO9001 standards.

Key Operational Duties

• Maintain and continuously update Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) software to ensure optimal machine performance and functionality.
• Manage and ensure the consistent availability of necessary spare parts to minimize downtime and support continuous operations.
• Communicate effectively and coordinate with external machine suppliers for technical support, parts, and service.
• Provide immediate and effective support to production teams in the event of any machine breakdowns or operational disruptions.
• Program software for machines' PLCs, ensuring they operate according to specifications and production needs.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Technician will work within a dynamic operational environment, collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless production and maintenance activities.
