Transportation Manager

About the Role

LogeMate is seeking a Transportation Manager for a full-time, on-site position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to overseeing daily transportation operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery performance across the Kingdom.

Role Overview

The Transportation Manager will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of routes, coordination of shipments, and maintaining high standards of delivery. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transportation operations, including route planning and scheduling.
• Coordinate shipments and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery performance.
• Monitor fleet utilization, vehicle maintenance, and driver performance.
• Enforce safety, compliance, and quality standards within transportation operations.
• Collaborate with warehousing, procurement, and advisory teams to optimize logistics flows.
• Manage relationships with carriers and clients.
• Resolve transportation issues and implement process enhancements.
• Analyze operational data to support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with LogeMate’s strategic goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.
• Experience preferably within 3PL, e-commerce, or distribution environments.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience with route planning, KPI tracking, and cost optimization.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency with transportation or fleet management systems (TMS).
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
