Role Summary

The Typhoon Supply Advisor will hold senior-level responsibility for managing the Typhoon Weapon System Section operation team within HQRSAF and integrating RSAF Depots and Bases. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, requires over 10 years of experience. The advisor will deputise for the RSAF DOS Weapon Systems Officer and represent the Director of Supply in managing current and future supply chain business, including contract development and acting as the supply interface with the Salam Project Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Deputising for the HQRSAF Directorate of Supply Typhoon Weapon Systems Officer.
• Developing RSAF supply chain strategies and producing detailed implementation plans.
• Managing and developing the RSAF Supply Chain Operations team activities.
• Monitoring performance management of supply chain contractual measures and dependencies, including producing high-quality contract and supply chain reports and data analysis.
• Ensuring the Supply Chain complies with RSAF Airworthiness and Quality Assurance policy in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Developing and training Military or Industry personnel to deliver supply chain capability, including personnel development through Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) for CMS employees to maximise Saudisation objectives.
• Managing the team’s daily performance against HQRSAF Weapon Systems Manager’s standards.
• Assuring and developing RSAF Supply Chain Operations processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Assuring Information Management tools are developed and compliant with RSAF Policy.
• Delivering and demonstrating continuous improvements to the RSAF supply chain operation while promoting and sharing leading practices.
• Ensuring compliance, monitoring, and management of applicable SHE policy and procedures.

Supply Chain Management

The role involves providing support and advice to Supply Squadron Commanders for compliance and performance monitoring to ensure an effective and efficient supply chain operation that meets customer requirements and contract obligations. This includes managing operational supply chain business activities from demand planning, physical logistics, spares and repair management, export control, and quality assurance across the contract. The advisor will ensure integration with Maintenance, Training, Quality, and Information Systems to demonstrate value for money and achieve contracts within agreed budgets and requirements.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, preferably within an aerospace or defence context.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex supply chain operations and developing strategic implementation plans.
• Proven ability to deputise for senior leadership roles and represent the Directorate of Supply.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic environment supporting the Royal Saudi Air Force. The role requires close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders, including RSAF personnel, project offices, and partner companies.
