About the Role

Exotech Co is seeking a part-time UI/UX Designer to join our team on-site in Riyadh. This role involves working closely with our in-house development team to enhance the user experience of an enterprise security software platform designed for technical professionals operating in demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Refresh and elevate the visual design of an existing application to an enterprise-grade standard.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system, including guidelines for colors, typography, spacing, and grids.
• Create and organize a reusable component library for elements such as buttons, inputs, tables, cards, and modals.
• Design data-dense layouts, including tables with numerous columns, ensuring clarity and usability.
• Optimize designs for dark mode as the primary theme, with support for light mode.
• Ensure layouts are effective for both English (left-to-right) and Arabic (right-to-left) languages.
• Audit current user flows, identify pain points, and propose practical improvements.
• Map out and refine workflows for processes such as alert handling and investigations.
• Design the user experience for a conversational AI chat interface.
• Prepare clear handoff documentation for developers to ensure accurate implementation.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Figma, including experience with Auto Layout, components, and design tokens.
• A strong portfolio showcasing at least two relevant projects, preferably in enterprise software, dashboards, or technical products.
• A keen eye for color-coding, visual hierarchy, and patterns that facilitate efficient user interaction.
• Strong written communication skills for preparing audit notes, recommendations, and handoff documentation.
• The ability to analyze user flows, identify issues, and propose effective solutions.
• Must be based in Riyadh and available for on-site part-time work.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience designing for dark mode and data-heavy interfaces.
• Familiarity with Arabic RTL (right-to-left) design principles or a strong willingness to learn them.
• Background in designing for technical or security-focused users.
• Experience collaborating with an in-house development team.
• Comfort in presenting and articulating design decisions to stakeholders.

Work Arrangement

This is a part-time position requiring on-site presence in Riyadh.
