About the Vendor Management Role

A confidential government entity in Riyadh is seeking a Vendor Management professional to join their team. This full-time position requires a candidate with 2-5 years of experience to oversee and optimize vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and service standards.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Vendor Management professional will be responsible for the end-to-end management of vendor relationships. This includes ensuring that vendors consistently meet service quality expectations, adhere to contractual obligations, and provide cost-efficient solutions. The role supports critical procurement functions, monitors vendor performance, and drives continuous improvement in vendor-delivered services.

  • Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate, select, and onboard new vendors.
  • Monitor vendor performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Address and resolve vendor-related issues, escalating risks as necessary.
  • Support contract renewals, negotiations, and ensure ongoing contract compliance.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records, documentation, and communication logs.
  • Liaise with internal departments to guarantee service quality and operational integration.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and enhancements in vendor services.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field. The role requires 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in vendor management, procurement, or contract administration. A strong understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and contract management principles is essential.
