About the Zakat Trainee Opportunity
Crowe Solutions for Professional Consulting, a member of Crowe Global in Saudi Arabia, is seeking motivated Saudi graduates for a Zakat Trainee position in Jeddah through the Tamheer Program. This 6-month training opportunity is designed for individuals looking to gain practical experience in zakat compliance, financial analysis, and client advisory support within a professional services environment. The trainee will work closely with the Zakat and Tax team, gaining exposure to client engagements, ZATCA-related matters, and zakat return preparation.
Role Context and Company Overview
Crowe Solutions for Professional Consulting provides high-quality professional services, including audit, advisory, tax, zakat, and IT services. Leveraging a global network of over 140 firms, the company combines international expertise with local insight to deliver cost-effective and results-driven solutions. This trainee role is an integral part of the Zakat and Tax team, contributing to the firm's service delivery in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing basic zakat schedules and supporting documentation.
- Support zakat calculations and the review of financial data.
- Help organize client files, working papers, and required documentation.
- Conduct basic research on Saudi zakat regulations under supervision.
- Support the team in preparing responses to ZATCA inquiries.
- Coordinate with team members and assist in daily engagement tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards when handling client information.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Must be a Saudi national eligible for the Tamheer Program.
- Must not have previously benefited from the Tamheer Program.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Fresh graduate or limited professional experience (0-1 year).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Interest in zakat, tax, and financial compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good command of Arabic and English, written and spoken.
- SOCPA membership or intention to pursue professional qualifications is a plus.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time, 6-month training opportunity based in Jeddah. Candidates must be based in Jeddah or willing to relocate to Jeddah.
