About the Zakat Trainee Role

Crowe Solutions for Professional Consulting, a member of Crowe Global in Saudi Arabia, is seeking motivated Saudi graduates for a Zakat Trainee position through the Tamheer Program. This 6-month internship is based in Jeddah, Makkah Region, and is designed for individuals looking to gain practical experience in zakat compliance, financial analysis, and client advisory support within a professional services environment. The trainee will work closely with the Zakat and Tax team, gaining exposure to client engagements and zakat return preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing basic zakat schedules and supporting documentation.
• Support the team in zakat calculations and financial data review.
• Help organize client files, working papers, and required documentation.
• Conduct basic research on Saudi zakat regulations under supervision.
• Support the team in preparing responses to ZATCA inquiries.
• Coordinate with team members and assist in daily engagement tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards when handling client information.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a Saudi national eligible for the Tamheer Program.
• Must not have previously benefited from the Tamheer Program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or limited professional experience (0-1 year).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Interest in zakat, tax, and financial compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Must be based in Jeddah or willing to relocate to Jeddah.
• SOCPA membership or intention to pursue professional qualifications is a plus.

Training and Development

This is a 6-month training opportunity through the Tamheer Program. The program provides practical training exposure to zakat compliance and advisory work in Saudi Arabia. Trainees will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals within a global advisory network, gaining hands-on experience with client engagements and ZATCA-related matters. This role aims to build a strong foundation for a career in zakat, tax, and professional services.
