About the Role

BAE Systems is seeking an Aircraft Avionics Technician to join their team in Tabuk. This is a full-time position, open to Saudi Nationals only, and involves providing essential maintenance support for aircraft operations. The role requires adherence to established policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery and safety.

Key Responsibilities

The Aircraft Avionics Technician will be responsible for a range of activities to support the maintenance and operational readiness of aircraft, including:

  • Ensuring BAE Systems maintenance support meets RSAF requirements and mitigates any risks to maintenance or safety, within the constraints applied to the Hawk Fleet.
  • Supporting the Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) to deliver serviceable aircraft to TAGF, fulfilling contractual operational and flying commitments.
  • Maintaining a strong safety culture while fault finding, repairing, and delivering serviceable assets to support the daily flying program. This includes training technicians.
  • Providing accurate and timely information to Line Managers to ensure the ETIC schedule is met and issues are identified and rectified during maintenance.
  • Managing repairable components into the supply repair channel and ensuring efficient supply discipline within the team.
  • Ensuring procedural compliance for Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) calibration cycles, Support Equipment maintenance cycles, and the Tool Control system.

Decision-Making Authority

The role involves making decisions on critical aspects of aircraft maintenance and operational planning, such as:

  • Aircraft fault identification, debrief, and rectification.
  • Aircraft maintenance scheduling.
  • Maintaining competency and ensuring SQEP levels are within mandated limits.
  • Scheduling personal time to maintain operational requirements.
  • Acting as a stand-in for the supervisor during periods of absence.
