Role Summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Carpenter to join its team in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for executing carpentry repairs, maintenance, and installation tasks across the hotel premises. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all wooden fixtures, furniture, doors, cabinets, and related structures are consistently maintained in excellent condition, contributing to a safe, functional, and high-quality guest experience for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective carpentry maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Repair and maintain doors, windows, furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other wooden fixtures.
• Install, assemble, and modify wooden structures and fittings as required.
• Inspect hotel facilities to identify carpentry maintenance requirements.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete assigned work orders efficiently.

Operational Duties and Standards

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Ensure all carpentry work meets hotel quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the workshop in clean and safe working condition.
• Coordinate effectively with other Engineering team members during renovation and maintenance projects.
• Report material requirements and assist in maintaining spare parts and inventory.
• Follow hotel policies, engineering procedures, and health & safety regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineering management.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Carpenter position are expected to have 0-1 years of relevant experience in carpentry or a related field. The role requires a hands-on approach to carpentry tasks within a dynamic hospitality environment.

This is a full-time position based in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, serving the operations of IHG Hotels & Resorts in the region.
