Sales Specialist

About the Role

Aljeel Medical is seeking a Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth and market share for the Cardiac Assist and Advanced Hemodynamic Monitoring portfolio in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role combines commercial responsibilities (70%) with clinical application support (30%). The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development: Achieve annual sales targets for capital equipment (IABP consoles, PiCCO/Pulsiocare monitors) and consumables (intra-aortic balloon catheters, PiCCO kits) in the Eastern Province. Develop and execute territory and key-account plans across various hospital types, including MOH, military, NGHA, Aramco/JHAH, university, and private hospitals. Identify and qualify opportunities, maintain an accurate sales funnel and forecast in Oracle CRM, and report weekly on pipeline activity. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and procurement decision-makers. Prepare technical and commercial offers for tenders (MOH, NUPCO, Etimad, private-sector RFQs) and manage them from specification to delivery. Protect and expand the installed base, drive consumable pull-through, and identify upgrade opportunities. Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends, sharing structured market intelligence. Coordinate with supply chain on forecasts, stock levels, order follow-up, and payment collection. Plan and execute product launches, CMEs, workshops, and scientific meetings.
• Clinical Application & Education: Deliver product demonstrations, evaluations, and clinical trials. Manage installation, go-live, and in-service training for medical and biomedical staff. Provide case support for IABP insertion, timing, and troubleshooting, as well as PiCCO setup, calibration, and parameter interpretation. Act as the first-line clinical contact for the territory, including participation in an on-call rota for urgent cardiac assist case support. Develop super-users and support competency programs and protocol development in CCU, ICU, and cath labs. Coordinate with biomedical engineering and service teams on installations, preventive maintenance, and technical issues, capturing customer feedback and complaints.

Performance Indicators

• Achievement of sales targets (capital and consumables) and market-share growth.
• Funnel coverage, forecast accuracy, and tender win rate.
• Consumable utilization per installed console/monitor.
• Number of trainings, in-services, and supported cases; customer satisfaction.
• Collections, aged stock management, and on-time reporting.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Valid Saudi driving license.
• Willingness to travel across the Eastern Province and, when required, other regions.
• Availability for after-hours case support as part of an on-call rotation.
