About the Role

Jobgether is seeking a SAP Release Manager – SAP S/4HANA RISE & ALM for a partner company. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and is based in Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for governing and orchestrating SAP release activities across complex, enterprise-scale S/4HANA RISE landscapes, ensuring controlled, compliant, and predictable deployments.

Role Context and Responsibilities

This position acts as the central point of coordination between technical teams, business stakeholders, and governance bodies. The SAP Release Manager will ensure smooth and risk-mitigated releases by managing and coordinating end-to-end SAP release cycles across S/4HANA RISE environments, including Dev, QA, Staging, and Production. A key aspect of this role involves overseeing SAP transport management processes, including sequencing, dependency handling, and deployment planning and execution.

  • Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes to ensure all releases comply with organizational change governance policies.
  • Manage SAP Change and Transport Management processes using tools such as SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM/CTS+), SAP Cloud ALM, and related ALM platforms.
  • Coordinate release calendars, cutover planning, and deployment scheduling across multiple teams and systems.
  • Ensure adherence to SOX compliance, audit controls, and regulatory requirements for all release activities.
  • Collaborate closely with development, basis, testing, security, PMO, and business teams to ensure release readiness and alignment.
  • Monitor release risks, dependencies, and issues, implementing mitigation and escalation strategies as required.
  • Coordinate regression testing, UAT execution support, and release validation activities prior to production deployment.
  • Maintain comprehensive release documentation, audit trails, approvals, and deployment records.
  • Track RICEF objects, transport dependencies, and inter-project impacts across SAP landscapes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance release efficiency, automation, and governance maturity.
  • Work with enterprise tools such as ServiceNow and Jira to integrate and streamline release and change management processes.

Qualifications and Experience

This role requires significant experience and expertise in SAP release management within large-scale enterprise environments. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA RISE landscapes and associated ALM tools.

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP Release Management within large-scale enterprise SAP environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing SAP S/4HANA RISE landscapes across multiple environments.
  • Deep expertise in SAP Solution Manager (ALM), including ChaRM, CTS/CTS+, release and transport management, and test management modules.
  • Experience with SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Change & Transport Management Services (CTMS).
  • Familiarity with SAP release automation tools such as Rev-Trac, ActiveControl, or equivalent solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP transport sequencing, dependency management, and end-to-end release governance processes.
  • Proven experience working with Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and structured change management frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of SOX compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory control requirements.
  • Experience integrating SAP release processes with enterprise tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
