At SABIS®, we pride ourselves on our global education network that educates students in both private and public sectors. We are currently looking for a Receptionist to provide efficient and professional clerical and administrative support at our Jeddah International Academy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome visitors, both in person and on the telephone, ensuring they are directed correctly.
  • Maintain communication via email and phone with assigned staff and other personnel.
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence, responding independently when possible.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area.
  • Work closely with the Director and Office Manager to ensure efficient operation of reception.
  • Interact regularly with parents and staff.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by school management.

Ideal Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong communication and MS Office skills.
  • Able to work effectively within a team.

Employment Requirements:
  • Must meet all country and local education and certification requirements.
  • Reference checks and criminal background checks are mandatory.

About the Role:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our visitors and callers. The ideal candidate will manage the front desk, provide administrative support, and ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for all guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (* pens, forms, and brochures).
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Customer service attitude.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
