As a Head Baker at Hilton, you will have the opportunity to ensure that breakfast and buffet offerings are prepared and presented to high standards, thereby enhancing the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure breakfast and buffet items are prepared within company guidelines and to high quality.
- Supervise kitchen staff as required, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
- Prepare all mis-en-place for breakfast buffet and other meal periods.
- Respond to guest queries efficiently to contribute to positive outcomes.
- Monitor food quality and proper storage methods.
- Contribute to controlling costs and improving profit margins.
- Maintain good working relationships across departments and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Comply with health and safety regulations including food hygiene.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Culinary Arts.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and in teams.
Preferred:
- Previous kitchen experience in a similar role.
- Intermediate food hygiene knowledge.
