Join our team as a Chef!
We are looking for a talented chef who can prepare healthy and delicious meals for our customers. In this role, you will oversee the kitchen staff, plan menus, and ensure that food is prepared to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that all food preparations align with our restaurant standards.
Train and motivate kitchen staff to achieve excellent results consistently.
Plan and prepare daily meals, adapting recipes according to customer requests.
Monitor performance, providing feedback and mentoring to staff.
Help with budgeting and cost analysis of meals.
Create schedules to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts.
Certification from the American Culinary Federation is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Knowledge of baking and pastry techniques.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Excellent organization, leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.

About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef to join the Italian - Mediterranean Kitchen team at Jumeirah The Red Sea. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

Create innovative and diverse menus that reflect culinary trends, dietary preferences, and the restaurant's concept, ensuring a balance of flavors, textures, and presentation.
Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency, freshness, and adherence to established recipes and standards.
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring smooth operations during service.
Manage food inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and minimize waste by implementing effective inventory control measures.
Monitor food costs, analyze variances, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Hold a bachelor’s degree in Catering, Hospitality or any other relevant field.
Possess 10+ years of international experience in a five-star hotel and restaurants.
Demonstrate problem solving skills.
Hold strong leadership and team management skills.
Possess Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Advanced).

Must understand:

SOCPA + ZATCA compliance

Real-estate accounting (Property → Unit → Contract → Invoice → Collection)

Reports & accounting rules

Chart of accounts design

Billing, collections, and bank reconciliation

Workflow & process automation

the role focuses on fixing gaps, improving workflow quality, and automating what remains.
