Key Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, process, and handle clinical specimens, including blood, tissue, and fluids, safely and accurately according to established laboratory protocols.
• Perform routine and advanced laboratory investigations across Hematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Immunology departments, adhering to international standards.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory analyzers and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Internal Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) standards to maintain the integrity of laboratory results.
• Accurately document, verify, and log test results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Maintain adherence to bio-safety regulations, occupational health standards, and infection control guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or Applied Medical Sciences is required.
• A valid registration and classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) as a "Medical Laboratory Technician" is mandatory.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy (blood sampling) is necessary.
