Job Purpose:
The Mechanical Technician is responsible for conducting skilled troubleshooting, repairs, corrective, and preventative maintenance on a range of mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Act as an authorized permit receiver to execute activities as required.
• Follow standard maintenance procedures and use appropriate materials for repairs.
• Identify spare parts and consumables needed for the job.
• Conduct plant patrols to identify asset abnormalities while adhering to SHEM/OMS standards.
• Prepare daily activity reports, manage SAP entries, and document activities.
• Support site personnel in mechanical issues and basic troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 2-5 years of experience in maintenance within the petrochemical industry.
• Proficient in fault diagnosis, breakdown repair, and preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and safety protocols.
