About Advanced Circular Materials Company

Advanced Circular Materials Company (ACMC) is a joint venture established in 2022 by Shell, AMG Recycling BV, and United Company for Industry (UCI), a subsidiary of Aljomaih Group. Located in Al Jubail Industrial City, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia, ACMC is developing a world-class Catalyst Manufacturing and Metals Reclamation Supercenter. This facility aims to position Saudi Arabia as a global leader in vanadium supply, a critical material for energy storage technologies and high-strength steel infrastructure. ACMC supports Saudi Vision 2030 by localizing value chains and accelerating the global energy transition through cutting-edge technology, closed-loop systems, and strategic partnerships, including an agreement with Saudi Aramco.

The Role of Treasury Specialist

The Treasury Specialist is a full-time position responsible for managing the company's cash flow, banking operations, liquidity planning, debt facilities, and financing activities within a manufacturing environment. This role supports the organization's financial stability by ensuring adequate funding, optimizing cash utilization, maintaining banking relationships, and managing loans and lender obligations. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash positions, monitor bank balances, and optimize cash utilization.
  • Prepare and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts and funding requirements.
  • Execute fund transfers, investments, and other treasury transactions in accordance with approved policies.
  • Manage working capital by monitoring receivables, payables, and cash conversion cycles.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and investigate variances.
  • Manage all company loan facilities, monitoring covenants, repayment schedules, interest calculations, and compliance with financing agreements.
  • Coordinate loan drawdowns, repayments, refinancing activities, and required lender reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with banks, financial institutions, and lenders regarding financing arrangements and treasury operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders to support funding requirements and negotiate favorable financing terms.
  • Support debt financing activities, including preparation of financial information and documentation required by lenders.
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposures and support the implementation of hedging activities where applicable.

Strategy and Performance Management

  • Support the development and execution of the company's treasury strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Monitor and forecast short-term and long-term liquidity requirements to ensure sufficient funding for operations and capital projects.
  • Prepare treasury reports, cash flow forecasts, and liquidity analysis for management decision-making.

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure treasury transactions comply with corporate policies, financing agreements, banking regulations, and applicable legal requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit activities relating to treasury, banking, and financing operations.
  • Maintain compliance with lender covenants and reporting obligations.
  • Ensure adherence to KSA financial regulations, tax requirements, and corporate governance standards.
