About the Role

Jubail and Yanbu Industrial Cities Services Company (JABEEN) is seeking an experienced Airport Maintenance Management Director to oversee maintenance operations in Al Jubail, Eastern Region. This full-time role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in airport maintenance, ensuring the efficient and ready operation of airport facilities and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise airport maintenance operations, ensuring facilities, equipment, and infrastructure function efficiently.
• Monitor weekly and monthly schedules for generators and automatic transfer switches, and oversee periodic testing of mechanical systems.
• Oversee the inspection and maintenance of water and sewage treatment plants, conveyor belts, elevators, escalators, fire extinguishers, and passenger boarding bridges.
• Track power and water outages and maintenance-related disruptions, assess their impact on airport operations, and coordinate resolution.
• Ensure the availability and readiness of specialized tools and test equipment for electrical and electronic system maintenance, and monitor periodic testing and calibration.
• Monitor contractors' implementation of irrigation and cleaning plans, establish cleaning schedules and plans, and oversee quality and material/equipment availability.
• Prepare and review reports on materials and supplies used in preventive and corrective maintenance, and inspect newly installed systems.
• Inspect maintenance warehouses to assess spare parts storage conditions and monitor inventory of recoverable spare parts and company-owned materials.
• Identify the need for work permits for maintenance, repair, renovation, and construction activities, prepare necessary documents, and submit requests to airport management and relevant authorities.
• Coordinate with airport staff, security, air traffic control, and stakeholders regarding scheduled works and their operational impacts.
• Monitor HVAC, lighting, and energy-consuming equipment using building automation systems.
• Prepare necessary drawings, layouts, and spatial data as required, and update the maintenance section of the Airport Operations Manual in accordance with GACAR 139 requirements.
• Supervise the maintenance team, develop their skills, monitor policy and procedure implementation, and prepare progress reports and improvement recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Airport Operations, Aviation Security, Aviation Safety, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in airport maintenance, including airport operations, airside, and/or terminal operations, or related experience.
• Proven experience in leadership, managerial, or supervisory roles related to airport maintenance, with the ability to manage teams and coordinate with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
• Understanding of General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) regulations and systems, particularly GACAR Part 139 and other relevant operational requirements.
• Professional certifications in the same field are preferred.
