About the Role

Jubail and Yanbu Industrial Cities Services Company (JABEEN) is seeking an Airport Security Management Director to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time role involves overseeing and enhancing security operations to ensure the safety of airport facilities, aircraft, passengers, and cargo.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the implementation of security plans, protocols, and procedures to protect airport facilities, aircraft, passengers, and cargo.
• Manage the security team, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance, training, and skill development for staff.
• Conduct and monitor security patrols and inspections to identify threats and risks, preventing unauthorized access and suspicious activities.
• Monitor surveillance camera systems and alarm devices, ensuring immediate response to incidents and security alerts.
• Ensure compliance with national and international civil aviation security regulations, including GACA requirements and ICAO standards.
• Manage and monitor access to airport facilities, review permit applications, and issue permanent and temporary security passes according to approved procedures.
• Ensure the maintenance and updating of records for airport staff, vehicles, and equipment, in coordination with airport management and relevant authorities.
• Coordinate with security agencies and relevant entities to enhance passenger security and streamline travel procedures.
• Develop and implement security training, exercises, and simulations to improve readiness and preparedness for various scenarios.
• Evaluate reports and incidents based on their nature and severity, oversee response, containment, mitigation, and control plans, and document incidents and actions taken.
• Prepare security minutes for the Airport Security Committee, update the Security Manual, and monitor the implementation of the National Civil Aviation Security Program.
• Monitor the application of security policies and procedures, prepare periodic reports, and submit recommendations to improve performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Airport Operations, Aviation Security, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in airport operations or airport security, including airport operations, airside, and/or terminal experience, or related experience.
• Proven experience in leadership, management, or supervisory positions related to airport security, with the ability to manage teams and coordinate with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
• Understanding of General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) regulations and bylaws, particularly GACAR Part 139 and other relevant operational requirements.
• Professional certifications in the field are preferred.

This is a full-time position requiring dedicated commitment to airport security operations.

Experience Required

Candidates should have 5-10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 7 years specifically in airport operations or security as detailed in the qualifications.
