About the Role

Madar Building Materials is seeking a highly capable Accounting Manager to join its Khobar headquarters as part of its nationwide operational expansion. This is a financial leadership role focused on managing daily accounting operations and providing strategic financial insights to support a large supply chain network. The position involves overseeing operations across 65 warehouses and factory-to-warehouse logistics, ensuring accurate financial reporting, guiding a team, and navigating enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and technically supervise the daily operations of the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy of all financial outputs and final journal entries.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports, including Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, expense analysis, and key financial indicators.
  • Collaborate in preparing the annual budget, track performance against it, and analyze financial variances.
  • Control and manage cash flows, ensuring necessary funds are secured for payroll and project expansions.
  • Review major vendor and supplier accounts monthly, managing supplier accounts and following up on due payments.
  • Review bank transfers, resolve pending issues in bank reconciliations, and manage differences between warehouse and accounting software.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during account reviews and respond effectively to their observations.
  • Prepare economic feasibility studies and funding proposals to support executive decisions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a direct supervisory role.
  • Proven track record in high-volume industries such as building materials, logistics, or B2B companies.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, solve problems, and implement corrective and preventive solutions.

  • Verify satisfactory conditions and ensure the timely issuance of the Inspection Release Note in SAP after a positive final test result.
  • Manage Non-Conformity Reports and Punch Lists in cases of unsatisfactory inspections.
  • Ensure the review and approval of vendor Manufactured Data Books and the timely issuance of the Final Test Certificate in SAP.
