About the Project Management Specialist Role
JAL International Co. Ltd. is seeking a Project Management Specialist to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time position requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in project management to ensure the successful execution of projects. The role focuses on meticulous planning, coordination, and monitoring to achieve project objectives within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Core Responsibilities
The Project Management Specialist will be instrumental in the lifecycle of projects. Key duties include:
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestones.
- Monitoring project progress to ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
- Coordinating effectively with internal departments, external contractors, and clients.
- Tracking project expenditures, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identifying potential project risks and proposing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Preparing detailed project status reports and performance dashboards for stakeholders.
- Ensuring adherence to company procedures and project governance standards.
- Supporting initiatives for continuous improvement and the adoption of project management best practices.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this role must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in project management or project coordination.
- Professional project management certifications, such as PMP, are preferred.
- A strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and cost control principles.
- Demonstrated experience using project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- The ability to prepare clear project reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), schedules, and executive-level presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
- A good command of both written and spoken English.
