About the Project Management Advisor Role
Alnafitha IT, a leading IT services and solutions provider in Saudi Arabia since 1993, is seeking a Project Management Advisor. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience. Alnafitha IT is a fully Saudi-owned company with a strong track record of delivering strategic IT solutions and driving digital transformation for its clients.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Project Management Advisor will support various stages of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure. This role involves assisting in the review of project documentation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and contributing to the creation of comprehensive project plans. The advisor will also support project execution by facilitating communication, tracking performance, and managing resource allocation.
- Support the review of initial project documentation, including contract details and proposal summaries, within the CRM.
- Assist in reviewing contracts, RFPs, technical proposals, and profitability matrices to ensure project viability.
- Collaborate with senior project managers to define project boundaries, goals, and deliverables.
- Contribute to the creation of project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation using project management tools.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Track project performance, schedule adherence, and budget utilization, reporting on status and deviations.
- Assist in implementing approved adjustments to project parameters through defined change management processes.
- Support the assessment and securing of necessary human and technical resources for project tasks.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates.
- Participate in client meetings to gather detailed requirements and document discussions.
- Manage the distribution of project-related information and documentation.
- Assist in securing client acceptance of project deliverables at each phase.
- Support the compilation and review of project closing reports with clients.
- Aid in analyzing project outcomes against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in tracking project expenditures against the budget and suggesting adjustments.
- Support the collection team in resolving payment issues by providing project context.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this role should possess a foundational understanding of project management principles and practices. While specific certifications are preferred, the core requirement is a willingness to learn and contribute within a structured project environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in technical project management is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE II certification is preferred.
- Agile certification (*, Scrum Master) is preferred.
- ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
- Proven experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
- Familiarity with project implementation in Cloud, IT service management, security, and unified communication solutions.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodology.
