Role Overview: PULD Operator / Driver

Odfjell Technology is seeking an experienced PULD Operator / Driver to support its TRS operations. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining PULD equipment in accordance with established standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain PULD equipment according to internal service quality procedures, work instructions, industry standards, safety guidelines, and customer requirements.
• Actively participate in Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessments before performing any work at bases or rig sites.
• Conduct pre-job maintenance and inspection of equipment prior to dispatch, completing all relevant documentation as per company work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in preparing dispatch documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness of equipment.
• Strictly follow supervisor's instructions regarding job operations, equipment servicing, and maintenance.
• Verify all relevant certifications and inspections for PULD equipment and accessories.
• Assist in preparing equipment for rig site operations, including redress, pre-job function tests, offline rig-up, and equipment operations.
• Support rig-up operations of the PULD unit.
• Assist in preparing job reports with operational details such as well information, rig-up/rig-down duration, job sequence, events, NPTs, equipment used, and performance.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs of all TRS equipment and PULD units at locations.
• Assist in rig-down of all TRS and PULD equipment.
• Prepare equipment for backload or subsequent operations as communicated by the crew or customer.
• Raise NCR/CPAR for any non-conformances related to operations.
• Record all job details in the Company Performance Tracking System with relevant data.
• Ensure all accessories are returned to the facility, highlighting any faults. Equipment remaining on location for future operations will be logged with the client, detailed in the operation report, and brought to the attention of the supervisor and customer coordinators.
• Attend client operations, quality, and HSSE meetings to ensure smooth operations in line with company quality systems and customer expectations.
• Perform any other TRS-related responsibilities as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Must be locally based in Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain PULD equipment.
• Understanding of industry standards, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
