About the Role
Duruper is seeking a dedicated QC Welding Inspector ARAMCO Approved to join our operations in Al Khobar, within the Eastern region. This full-time position is open to candidates with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in quality control and welding inspection, offering an annual salary ranging from SAR 6,000 to SAR 8,500.
Position Overview
The primary objective of this role is to ensure all welding activities comply with stringent Aramco standards, approved welding procedures, and applicable international codes. The inspector will play a crucial part in maintaining high-quality standards and operational integrity through meticulous inspection and verification processes, contributing to project success and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive welding inspections across various project stages, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Verify the accuracy and compliance of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) documentation.
- Coordinate and meticulously review Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities and their corresponding reports.
- Ensure strict adherence to all Aramco CBT requirements throughout the inspection and documentation process.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory for this position.
- Possession of valid Aramco Approval, including an SAP Number with CBT qualification, is essential.
- Mandatory certification from AWS (American Welding Society) or CSWIP (Certification Scheme for Welding and Inspection Personnel).
- Level II certification in multiple Non-Destructive Testing methods: Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT).
Experience and Expertise
The ideal candidate will bring 7 years of proven experience specifically in welding inspection roles within industrial or construction environments. A robust knowledge of various welding certifications and a solid foundation in NDT Level II qualifications are critical for successfully executing the responsibilities of this position and ensuring project integrity.
Work Environment and Compensation
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Al Khobar, Eastern region, requiring dedicated presence to oversee inspection activities. The compensation package for this position includes an annual salary ranging from SAR 6,000 to SAR 8,500, commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
