About the Role

Wesco is seeking a Representative Outside Sales to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This is a full-time position designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on developing new prospects and engaging with assigned customers. The primary goal is to increase sales and margin for the company's products and services through face-to-face selling and account management activities. This role offers an opportunity to earn commission in addition to a base salary, with earnings tied to individual sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for a range of activities aimed at driving sales growth and maintaining strong customer relationships. These include:

• Assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate products, services, or solutions to ensure a smooth sales process.
• Executing and expanding assigned customer account plans developed in collaboration with management.
• Implementing billing margin initiatives through value-added services, marketing programs, and supplier engagement.
• Prospecting for potential customers, including cold calling and generating leads via referral channels.
• Communicating with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service requirements.
• Demonstrating the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their specific needs.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management, resolving any post-sale issues.
• Maintaining communication with existing and previous customers, informing them of new products, services, and enhancements.

Sales Strategy and Customer Engagement

A core aspect of this role involves engaging with various levels of customer organizations, including technical, operations, supply chain, and executive management. The representative will be expected to develop and deliver sales bids, presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations as required to meet sales revenue targets. This also includes utilizing sales management tools for planning and documenting opportunities, developing product knowledge through Wesco and supplier training, building strong relationships with suppliers, and providing quotations directly or in coordination with the sales support team.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in outside sales or a related customer-facing role. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role, alongside a proactive approach to sales development and customer satisfaction.

Work Environment

While work is generally performed in an office environment, this role requires frequent travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities. Driving may be necessary for extended periods, involving frequent stops and starts. The employee may also be exposed to outdoor weather conditions during travel and site visits.
