We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team at a leading business consultancy services firm in AL-Ula, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support our business operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and supporting the strategic goals of the organization. A membership in SOCPA is a must, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience in the accounting field.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing reports and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights to improve financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and prepare necessary documentation for tax filings.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide training and support to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure best practices are followed.

Preferred Candidate:
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role, preferably within the consultancy sector, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Must hold a valid SOCPA membership, demonstrating professional credibility and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws in Saudi Arabia.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to team success.
