Job Purpose:
The Accountant will manage systematic recording, filing, and maintenance of all financial and administrative records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This role is crucial for supporting business continuity and efficient information retrieval, assisting with monthly closings, account analysis, and supporting the AR Manager in accounting department duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update bank ledgers and daily accounts receivable transactions.
  • Clear banking transactions and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Record collections and reconcile daily van salesman accounts.
  • Monitor inventory and conduct weekly/monthly stock counts.
  • Support internal financial controls and assist with audit preparations.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience:
3-5 years in branch finance or administrative control functions.

Skills:
  • Good ERP and Microsoft Office knowledge preferred.
  • Strong communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage filing systems (both physical and electronic).
  • Reliability and confidentiality.
