Helicopter Pilot

About the Role

Aloula Aviation is seeking an experienced Helicopter Pilot to operate as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of Aloula Helicopters, supporting company operations in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role may also involve assignments as PIC of Small Helicopters or Second-in-Command (SIC) of Medium Helicopters, contributing to the company's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of operating procedures for assigned aircraft.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness and complete all required documentation in compliance with government regulations and company policy.
• Obtain flight clearances and weather reports to ensure safe flight routes, with the authority to cancel flights if safe weather conditions are not present.
• Verify all flight-related paperwork, including passenger and cargo manifests, routes, and destinations.
• Monitor the loading and off-loading of passengers and cargo to prevent injury or damage.
• Direct crew members and passengers during emergencies to ensure safety procedures are understood and executed effectively.
• Supervise and direct crew members in their duties to ensure correct performance.
• Pilot aircraft safely and efficiently, adhering to established procedures from government regulations, aircraft manufacturers, and company policy.
• Train and develop new Saudi Co-Pilots or Captains-in-Training in accordance with FAA and company regulations.
• Advise the Aviation Manager, Helicopter Chief Pilot, and Fleet Captain on any factors that may impede operational safety.
• Perform additional flight or ground duties as assigned by the Aviation Manager, Helicopter Chief Pilot, or Fleet Captain.
• Conduct Search and Rescue Operations offshore and/or onshore within the Kingdom when tasked.
• Execute Emergency Medical Evacuation to transport patients to/from company or government hospitals within or outside the Kingdom as requested.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Helicopter Pilot, with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to operate as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for helicopters.
• Proficiency in conducting visual inspections and ensuring aircraft airworthiness.
• Strong understanding of government regulations and company policies related to aviation.
• Experience in training and developing new pilots is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, involving operations in diverse environments, including offshore and onshore locations within the Kingdom.
