Enigma Genomics is seeking a Laboratory Specialist to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This is a full-time position suitable for a recent graduate with 0-1 years of experience, interested in genetic testing, molecular diagnostics, and laboratory operations.

Role Overview

The Laboratory Specialist will be responsible for supporting daily laboratory activities, including sample collection and client-facing operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to genetic testing, genomics, and practical experience across both laboratory and clinical operations within a growing genomics company.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood sample collection in accordance with approved procedures and safety standards.
• Receive and assist clients professionally during the sample collection process.
• Verify client information, test requests, and sample identification prior to collection.
• Handle, label, process, and prepare samples according to laboratory procedures, ensuring proper handling, storage, and identification to maintain sample integrity.
• Support laboratory activities related to genetic and molecular testing.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
• Adhere to laboratory SOPs, quality control procedures, biosafety requirements, and infection control standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Coordinate with clinical and laboratory teams regarding sample collection, processing, and requirements.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding sample collection instructions and basic test-related information within the scope of the role.
• Report sample discrepancies or issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and laboratory results.
• Perform other assigned laboratory and operational duties.

• 0-1 years of experience, suitable for a recent graduate.
• Interest in genetic testing, molecular diagnostics, and laboratory operations.
• Ability to follow approved procedures and safety standards.
