About the Operations Executive Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch - J02 is seeking an Operations Executive to join the Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) operations team in Dammam. This full-time role is part of a newly formed organization focused on launching new business models within AMET, specifically redefining fast delivery and managing 3P Store Operations. The position requires 0-1 years of experience and offers an opportunity to contribute to a significant operational initiative.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The Operations Executive will be instrumental in the day-to-day management of UFG Under the Roof (UTR) operations in Saudi Arabia. This involves overseeing end-to-end store operations, ensuring customer-facing metrics are met while maintaining operational quality and safety standards. A key aspect of the role is driving performance management for associates, including productivity, quality, and safety. The role also includes developing and implementing training plans for pickers and collaborating with merchant stakeholders to achieve continuous performance improvement. Daily audits, including 4M/5S and safety GEMBA, will be conducted. The Operations Executive will also be expected to stand in for the Area Manager when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily end-to-end UTR operations for assigned sites, supervising store operations.
• Achieve customer-facing metrics while upholding operational and quality targets.
• Maintain the safety and morale of the reporting team.
• Drive performance management for team members.
• Prepare and implement training and development plans for pickers.
• Collaborate with merchant stakeholders to improve operational processes and performance.
• Conduct daily 4M/5S and Safety GEMBA audits for stores.
• Provide support by standing in for the Area Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in an operational role.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English.
• Fluency in both spoken and written Arabic.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or customer-facing environment.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Dammam. The role is part of the Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) operations, focusing on building and running new services for customers. The work environment involves implementing Amazon policies, including attendance tracking, and motivating associates to achieve performance expectations.
