As a Warehouse/Store Keeper at CAF, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for the safe keeping of all stock located within the warehouse and ensuring that inventory items are readily available when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control and monitor the movement of all inventory items.
• Manage all incoming deliveries and shipments, ensuring their proper safekeeping.
• Verify shipments from the warehouse and prepare discrepancy reports for any non-compliance.
• Prepare items for dispatch to clients based on delivery documentation.
• Inspect the condition of the storage area, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct physical inventories in collaboration with the Financial Controller.
• Assist other departments as needed and maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily with the Head Storekeeper on authorized storeroom requisitions.
• Prepare and issue stock items requested as per system requisitions.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for stock items received and issued.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in storerooms and ensure proper arrangements of items.
• Assist with food and beverage inventory checks and record expiry dates accordingly.

Qualifications:

• A degree in hospitality with prior experience in stores, purchasing, and receiving, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Proficiency in English communication and computer literacy.
• Knowledge of software like Opera, Micros, and FBM is an advantage.

• Safeguarding all stock located within the warehouse.
• Controlling and monitoring inventory movements to ensure availability when required.
• Managing all incoming deliveries and shipments while ensuring safe storage of all stock.
• Verifying incoming and outgoing shipments of equipment/materials.
• Comparing deliveries with specifications indicated on purchase orders and preparing discrepancy reports.
• Preparing items for dispatch to clients based on delivery documentation.
• Conducting inspections of the storage area and maintaining physical condition of materials and equipment.
• Collaborating with the Financial Controller to undertake physical inventories as needed.
• Performing other duties to support other departments when required.
• Maintaining a clean and presentable warehouse environment.
• Working closely with the procurement and finance departments.
