Your role will be pivotal in material handling, customer service, and safety compliance.

Position Summary
As a Warehouse Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective practices are adhered to. This includes receiving, storage, and distribution of materials while supporting maintenance and production activities relating to inventory requirements. You will report on all activities in accordance with Materials Management Procedures and legal standards.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drive safety and environment targets through safe work practices.
  • Ensure compliance with supply and warehousing processes for productivity.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
  • Manage inventory effectively, ensuring accurate recording of movements.
  • Handle hazardous materials in accordance with safety standards.
  • Train customers on the supply system.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment to maintain safety.

Skills Required
Extensive knowledge of computerized stock control systems (*, SAP) and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience
Successful completion of a Diploma, with 3+ years of relevant experience in material handling and 5+ years in chemical/refinery maintenance.
