SportPlex Saudi Arabia is seeking a Part-time Assistant Football Coach to contribute to our sports programs in the Makkah region, specifically covering activities in Jeddah and Makkah. This role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are dedicated to football and player development.

The Role

The Assistant Football Coach supports the Head Coach in planning and delivering high-quality football training sessions. This position involves actively engaging with players to enhance their technical and tactical skills, while ensuring all activities adhere to professional coaching and safety standards within a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in the planning and delivery of football training sessions.
• Support players in developing fundamental technical skills, including passing, dribbling, shooting, ball control, and defending.
• Contribute to tactical training and game preparation.
• Monitor players’ performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Support the organization and supervision of football practices, matches, and related activities.
• Help maintain discipline, professionalism, and a positive team environment.
• Ensure all training activities are conducted in accordance with SportPlex safety and safeguarding standards.
• Assist with equipment setup, organization, and proper storage before and after sessions.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, coaches, and the Sports team when required.
• Support overall player development and contribute to the success of the football program.
• Perform other coaching-related duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Sports Management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience (0-1 years) as a football coach, assistant coach, or professional football player.
• Strong knowledge of football fundamentals, techniques, and tactics.
• Ability to work effectively with children, teenagers, or adult players, depending on the specific program.
• Commitment to player safety and adherence to professional coaching standards.

Work Environment and Location
