About the Role
As a Business Development Manager at Pace, you will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities across the KSA region. You will assist in the opening of branches, develop market insights, and coach your team to achieve higher responsibilities within the function. Your contribution will directly impact the growth and success of Pace in the KSA market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the expansion of Pace into new markets.
  • Build and record market dynamics, including history and pricing trends.
  • Collaborate with management to identify business development opportunities.
  • Conduct market studies and recommend growth strategies.
  • Prepare materials for client interaction during the bidding cycle.
  • Enhance market intelligence and information gathering to foster new opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders effectively.
  • Participate in proposal preparations and negotiations.
  • Lead the business development team and promote professional growth.
  • Analyze competitor strategies and market performance.

Required Experience:
- 15 years of experience in Business Development in a technical industry.
- Proven track record of acquiring new clients and developing new business.
- Familiarity with local regulations and guidelines.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent is a plus.

Certifications & Skills:
  • Certification in Project Management (*, PMP) is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Strong data analysis and forecasting abilities.
  • Negotiation and decision-making skills.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • 5–8 years in export sales for FMCG or consumer goods, with proven distributor management experience.
  • Hands on experience in managing principals/suppliers.
  • Strong commercial acumen (pricing, P&L, trade terms) and negotiation skills.
  • Working knowledge of export fundamentals: Incoterms, documentation types (invoice, packing list, COO), regulatory labeling, and lead-time constraints (to coordinate effectively).
  • Willingness to travel internationally 30–40%.
