About the Role
Plaza Premium Group is seeking a Cluster Country Hotel Manager to serve as the strategic business leader for a portfolio of hotels and hospitality properties in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves close collaboration with the VP, Regional General Manager (RGM), and other senior leaders. The position is responsible for the overall operational, financial, guest experience, compliance, and people performance across a cluster of hotels, ensuring alignment with company objectives, brand standards, and profitability targets. Candidates should have 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pre-opening, refurbishment, conversion, and delisting activities, ensuring projects are completed within approved timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate operational readiness, including recruitment, training, licensing, procurement, and systems implementation.
- Execute approved project plans related to operational, commercial, financial, and guest experience enhancements.
- Monitor hotel profitability, revenue performance, and operational costs, assisting in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Revenue Management teams to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
- Champion operational excellence across all hotels, planning and coordinating service delivery to meet guest expectations.
- Drive guest satisfaction and service excellence, monitoring feedback and ensuring effective resolution of complaints.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, brand standards, and local regulatory requirements, including health, safety, and security.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to hotel management teams, fostering employee engagement and succession planning.
Pre-Opening and Project Management
- Support collaboration across departments for pre-opening, refurbishment, or delisting projects within approved timelines.
- Review and manage Pre-Opening Critical Paths, ensuring operational milestones are achieved.
- Coordinate operational readiness activities, including recruitment, training, licensing, procurement, and systems implementation.
- Track project progress and timelines, executing approved plans for operational, commercial, financial, and guest experience enhancements.
- Identify operational, financial, or compliance risks and escalate as necessary.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Financial and Revenue Management Support
- Assist in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term business plans.
- Monitor hotel profitability, revenue performance, and operational costs.
- Conduct monthly forecasting and P&L review meetings, implementing corrective actions.
- Provide operational insights and market intelligence to support revenue strategy development.
- Monitor hotel occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall performance against targets.
- Support the implementation of promotional campaigns, pricing initiatives, and commercial programs.
Operations, Guest Experience, and Compliance
- Direct and coordinate service delivery across all hotel departments to meet guest expectations.
- Set and monitor KPIs for all hotel departments and manage internal audits.
- Oversee F&B outlets and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Seek, review, and respond to guest feedback, monitoring online reputation scores.
- Ensure effective management and resolution of guest complaints and service recovery cases.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, brand standards, and local regulatory requirements.
- Maintain health, safety, security, food safety, and risk management standards.
Leadership and Talent Development
- Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to hotel management teams.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and succession planning programs.
- Promote collaboration and teamwork across all departments and hotels.
- Lead recruitment, talent development, mentoring, and performance reviews for departmental leaders.
- Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging hospitality innovations.
