About the Commercial Excellence Specialist Role
Panda Retail Company – Savola Group is seeking a Commercial Excellence Specialist to join their team in Makkah, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah cities. This full-time position is designed for an individual with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on enhancing commercial functions through improved governance and control.
Role Overview and Objectives
The Commercial Excellence Specialist will play a key role in coordinating and assisting with commercial transformation initiatives and supplier engagement. The primary objective is to establish better governance and control over all Commercial Functions activities, including processes, responsibilities, business processes, and cross-functional service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial excellence initiatives to improve business performance, operational efficiency, and supplier collaboration.
- Coordinate commercial transformation projects to ensure alignment with company objectives and consistent execution across business units.
- Analyze sales, supplier performance, and commercial data to identify opportunities for improvement and support data-driven decision-making.
- Facilitate supplier engagement programs and performance reviews to enhance collaboration, compliance, and mutual business growth.
- Monitor and track the execution of commercial improvement plans to ensure the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and process standardization.
- Collaborate with category management, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure integrated commercial planning and alignment with S&OP cycles.
- Support the design and deployment of commercial tools, scorecards, and dashboards to ensure visibility and transparency in supplier and category performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation and process standards to ensure the sustainability and scalability of commercial excellence initiatives.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability to ensure consistent delivery of strategic and financial outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- An Engineering Degree or a degree in Management Information Systems is required.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in business writing.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with specific work locations in Jeddah and Makkah cities.
