About the Opportunity

Selected Recruitment is partnering with a large, established Saudi organisation to appoint a Director, Total Rewards. This is a full-time, Group-level leadership position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Role Purpose and Scope

The Director, Total Rewards will be responsible for defining and implementing the organisation’s comprehensive reward strategy and architecture. This includes oversight of compensation, benefits, executive rewards, and incentive programmes across the entire Group, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the Group Total Rewards strategy, philosophy, and governance framework.
  • Oversee compensation architecture, including job grading, salary structures, and market positioning.
  • Formulate recommendations for executive compensation and reward packages.
  • Design and implement Short-Term and Long-Term Incentive (STI/LTI) programmes.
  • Manage annual salary, promotion, and incentive review cycles.
  • Develop and optimise the organisation's benefits strategy.
  • Conduct reward analytics, ensuring internal equity and a pay-for-performance culture.
  • Provide senior-level reward governance and prepare recommendations for executive and Board-level stakeholders.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Total Rewards leader with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Candidates should demonstrate a strong background in complex, multi-business, or multinational organisations.

  • Significant experience across executive compensation, compensation frameworks, incentive design, market benchmarking, and reward governance.
  • Proven ability to operate confidently and effectively with senior executives.
  • Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region is highly advantageous.
