About the Role of Sales Engineer

Mohammed Mansour Al-Rumaih (MMR KSA) is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team in Makkah, covering both Jeddah and Makkah cities. This full-time role focuses on driving sales opportunities through technical engagement and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle and post-implementation. The Sales Engineer will collaborate with internal teams to provide technical support, address customer needs, and identify opportunities for growth.

Role Overview

The Sales Engineer is responsible for leveraging technical expertise to support sales efforts, from initial presentations and demonstrations to post-sale implementation and customer training. This involves acting as a subject matter expert for assigned products and services, maintaining strong customer relationships, and contributing to product development through customer feedback. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales opportunities using technical accelerators such as presentations, demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and pilot programs.
• Participate in technical sales calls and communicate with support and professional services teams to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
• Assist in the deployment and implementation of solutions post-sale, ensuring smooth customer onboarding and resolving technical challenges.
• Conduct customer training sessions and develop user documentation to maximize solution adoption and ROI.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to ensure long-term renewals and address satisfaction-impacting issues.
• Provide technical product enablement and mentoring to channel and internal resources.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in solution designs for assigned products and services, offering appropriate product recommendations.
• Monitor customer adoption and suggest enhancements to improve outcomes and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to qualify opportunities, present solution proposals, and provide feedback on customer needs for product development.
• Engage internal resources (*, product management, marketing, support) to close sales opportunities and resolve implementation issues.
• Complete pre-sales and post-sales documentation accurately to support the entire sales lifecycle.
• Work closely with product teams to provide implementation feedback for product offering improvements.
• Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling to drive additional revenue streams.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a sales engineering or similar technical sales role.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with responsibilities covering both Jeddah and Makkah cities. The role involves working collaboratively with various internal teams and directly with customers and partners.
