About the Role
Afifi Holding Group, Artificial Marble Division, is seeking an Export Sales Manager Artificial Marble Slabs to expand its international market presence. This full-time role focuses on developing profitable distribution channels across Africa, the GCC, and the wider Middle East. The position is open to qualified candidates globally, offering the flexibility of remote work or on-site presence at the company’s head office in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the export sales strategy across Africa, the GCC, and the wider Middle East.
- Identify, approach, evaluate, and appoint qualified distributors, importers, and commercial agents.
- Build and maintain relationships with stone fabricators, kitchen manufacturers, contractors, fit-out companies, project suppliers, and building-material distributors.
- Manage the complete export sales cycle, from prospecting and product samples to negotiation, order confirmation, and collection.
- Prepare commercial quotations based on pricing, freight costs, Incoterms, payment terms, and required profit margins.
- Conduct market research covering competitors, pricing, product demand, customer requirements, and distribution opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, customer records, and activity reports through the company’s CRM system.
- Coordinate with production, quality, logistics, and finance teams to ensure successful order fulfilment.
- Participate in international exhibitions, customer meetings, and business development trips when required.
- Monitor payment commitments, credit risks, distributor performance, and repeat orders.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience.
- At least 3 years of proven international export sales experience.
- Direct experience in one or more of the following industries: Artificial or natural marble, engineered stone or quartz surfaces, solid surface materials, ceramic and porcelain slabs, HPL, decorative surfaces, or building-finishing materials.
- Proven track record of opening international markets, appointing distributors, and generating export revenue.
- Strong and active business relationships with importers, distributors, fabricators, contractors, project suppliers, and other relevant buyers across Africa, the GCC, and the wider Middle East.
- Strong knowledge of international trade procedures, export documentation, shipping, and customs requirements.
- Practical knowledge of Incoterms, including FOB, CIF, and CFR.
- Experience with letters of credit, international payment terms, freight negotiations, and credit-risk management.
- Strong commercial negotiation, pricing, and key-account management skills.
- Professional English communication and negotiation skills. Arabic is highly preferred.
- Ability to use CRM systems and prepare reliable sales forecasts and performance reports.
- Ability to work independently, manage international accounts remotely, and maintain consistent communication with the company’s head office.
- Availability for regular online meetings aligned with Saudi business hours.
- Willingness to travel across the assigned markets when required.
Preferred Market Experience
Priority will be given to candidates with established business relationships in one or more of the following markets:
- Saudi Arabia and the GCC (United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain)
- Iraq and Jordan
- Egypt and North Africa
- East Africa
- West Africa
- Southern Africa
Expected First 90-Day Outcomes
- Develop a qualified list of at least 60 target international accounts.
- Conduct a minimum of 25 meetings with relevant decision-makers.
- Generate at least 10 qualified sample or quotation opportunities.
- Secure initial paid trial orders.
- Build a qualified export pipeline covering distributors and project-based customers.
- Submit a clear market-entry and distributor-development plan for priority markets.
