About the Role

The Container, a modular events venue located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a part-time Front of House Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing guest-facing operations at the venue entrance, ensuring a professional and organized arrival experience for attendees of music events, cultural programming, brand activations, and private functions.

Role Overview

The Front of House Manager will work on-site in Jeddah, with a requirement to be available on Thursdays and Fridays during event hours. This position is integral to the smooth operation of the venue's entry points, requiring close collaboration with operations, security, and ticketing teams to manage guest flow and resolve any entry-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-event briefings for the front of house team.
• Assign staff positions and monitor entrance readiness.
• Support ticket checks and manage guest queues effectively.
• Assist guests and address concerns at the entrance in real time.
• Ensure admission procedures are followed correctly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in front of house, hospitality, events, nightlife, or venue operations.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead, brief, and supervise front of house staff.
• Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced event environment.
• Understanding of guest entry, queue management, ticketing procedures, and venue safety.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with operations, security, and ticketing teams.
• Availability to work on-site every Thursday and Friday, including evenings and late-night event hours.
