About the Role

Modern Mills For Food Products Co. is seeking a Functional Consultant, SD to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module. The consultant will ensure the SD module effectively supports business needs across sales order processing, billing, distribution, and customer service, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize the SAP SD module, covering sales orders, pricing, billing, shipping, credit management, and returns processing.
• Ensure seamless integration of the SD module with other SAP modules such as MM, FI, and PP.
• Design and implement SAP SD solutions to improve order fulfillment, delivery, and billing processes, identifying opportunities for automation and digitalization.
• Collaborate with other SAP module consultants (FI, MM, WM, PP) and business stakeholders to align SD processes with overall business objectives.
• Provide functional support for SAP SD, handling day-to-day user issues, troubleshooting problems, and managing incident resolution with the IT support team.
• Ensure SAP SD configurations comply with local sales regulations in KSA, including VAT, export/import, and customer billing requirements, as well as internal controls and audit standards.
• Develop and deliver user training for sales and distribution teams, and maintain detailed documentation of configuration changes, enhancements, and issue resolutions.
• Participate in SAP SD implementation projects, version upgrades, and rollouts, conducting system testing, data migration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Contribute to the development of IT policies, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent application and operational ease.

Required Experience and Expertise

Candidates should possess deep expertise in the SAP SD module and its underlying business processes, acquired through 5-10 years of relevant experience. This role requires a strong ability to implement best practices, enhance system efficiency, support project implementations, and resolve issues effectively. A comprehensive understanding of local and international sales regulations is essential to ensure compliance within the system configurations.

System Integration and Compliance Focus

The role demands proficiency in integrating the SD module with other critical SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FI), and Production Planning (PP). A key aspect involves ensuring all SAP SD configurations adhere to local sales regulations in KSA, including VAT and export/import requirements, and align with internal controls and audit standards. The consultant will be responsible for keeping the system updated with changes in relevant regulations.
