About the Government Relations Specialist Role

Guthmi Group is seeking a dedicated Government Relations Specialist to join its team in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position is central to managing and overseeing all company transactions and relationships with various government entities. The primary objective is to ensure efficient and professional engagement, full compliance with Saudi labor laws and regulations, and support business continuity by completing all government transactions accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute all government relations transactions specific to Guthmi Group.
  • Oversee residency procedures, sponsorship transfers, profession changes, and the issuance and renewal of work permits.
  • Complete all visa procedures, including work visas, exit and re-entry visas, and final exit visas.
  • Coordinate effectively with the Human Resources Department regarding the recruitment processes for non-Saudi employees.
  • Follow up on social insurance subscriptions and ensure employee data is updated accurately.
  • Represent the company before government entities when necessary.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to prepare necessary documents for government entities.
  • Organize and archive all government documents and transaction records in an efficient manner.
  • Perform any other tasks and duties assigned within the scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight

  • Monitor Ministry of Human Resources platforms, including Qawa, Mudad, Nitaqat, Tawteen, and Hadaf.
  • Ensure strict compliance with approved labor laws and government regulations.
  • Prepare periodic reports detailing the status of government transactions and compliance rates.
  • Monitor and inform management of any updates or changes in government regulations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 10 years of experience in government relations or a similar field. A strong understanding of Saudi labor laws and government regulations is essential for this role. Candidates should also demonstrate proficiency in managing government transactions and utilizing relevant digital platforms.

  • Proven experience in managing government relations and official procedures.
  • Familiarity with Ministry of Human Resources platforms (Qawa, Mudad, Nitaqat, Tawteen, Hadaf).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate document management.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to prepare clear and concise reports.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time employment opportunity. The role will be based across our operations in Jeddah and Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
