The HR Officer Role

Calo Inc. is seeking an HR Officer - Saudi National to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time role serves as a primary partner for employees throughout their journey at Calo. The HR Officer will be instrumental in ensuring a positive employee experience, from onboarding to supporting daily HR operations and fostering a productive workplace environment where individuals can perform effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete pre-boarding and onboarding process, including employment contracts, visa coordination, documentation, and orientation.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for employees, offering support and guidance on HR-related inquiries.
  • Cultivate trusted relationships with employees and managers across all business functions.
  • Address employee relations matters professionally and impartially, covering workplace concerns, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Assist managers with day-to-day people operations and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Saudi Labour Law and internal HR policies.
  • Coordinate HR documentation and maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records.
  • Support payroll processes by ensuring all employee data and necessary documentation are accurate and submitted promptly.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • Support health, safety, and employee wellbeing programs.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving HR processes and contribute to building scalable people operations.
  • Lead HR projects and operational tasks from inception to completion.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a Saudi National.
  • 2-5 years of experience in an HR Specialist or Officer role.
  • Proven ability to manage HR operations and employee relations effectively.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi Labour Law and HR best practices.
