Dar Al Riyadh is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves developing and implementing comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plans specifically for building construction projects, ensuring a strong safety culture across the organization.

Role Overview

The HSE Manager will provide strategic leadership in integrating HSE considerations into project schedules and workflows. This position requires active engagement with project teams to reinforce safety priorities and promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans tailored to building construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE considerations into project schedules and workflows.
  • Stay informed about local and international HSE regulations applicable to building construction and ensure strict adherence.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for construction activities, identify potential hazards, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of HSE training programs for project personnel.
  • Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, incident reports, and training records, generating regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first aid protocols, and conduct drills.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of HSE processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment management, preferably within building construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective HSE plans and strategies.
  • Strong understanding of local and international HSE regulations.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and HSE audits.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, requiring a proactive approach to safety leadership and collaboration with diverse project teams.
