Job Description
About the Role
Marriott International is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time position provides essential administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information. The role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.
Core Administrative Functions
- Create and maintain organized filing systems for the Human Resources department.
- Prepare and type office correspondence using computer applications.
- Distribute and route incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
- Order, track, and manage inventory of Human Resources office supplies and forms.
- Answer phone calls, record messages accurately, and direct inquiries as appropriate.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computer and/or point of sale systems.
Employee Support and Record Management
- Create and maintain new employee personnel files.
- Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures, ensuring the designated space is clean, well-maintained, and accessible to individuals with disabilities.
- Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations within the division or property.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9's.
Professional Conduct and Team Collaboration
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
- Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions promptly to the manager.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in written documents, and use appropriate telephone etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support team goals, and respond appropriately to concerns.
- Ensure consistent adherence to quality expectations and standards in all tasks.
Physical Requirements and General Duties
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
