Secure Life is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical for maintaining daily IT operations and ensuring system stability across the organization.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide essential day-to-day IT support and comprehensive application and system troubleshooting. This position involves direct support for users of Safety Systems, alongside responsibilities for installing SQL databases and writing queries to ensure data integrity and system functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, applications, and system-related issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, software, and peripheral devices.
• Troubleshoot business applications and investigate application errors and system failures.
• Perform SQL queries to investigate and validate application and database-related issues.
• Identify data inconsistencies and collaborate with application and database teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor system and application errors, logs, services, and scheduled processes.
• Execute basic database backup, restore, and maintenance activities.
• Support users with Safety System and other business applications.
• Coordinate with software development teams and customers for unresolved application and database issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and document solutions for recurring problems.
• Monitor system availability and assist in maintaining business continuity.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to IT systems.
• Support Microsoft Windows, networking, printers, and other IT infrastructure.
• Maintain IT documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and system records.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in IT support or a related technical field. The role requires strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, including the ability to investigate application errors, perform SQL queries, and identify database-related issues. Effective coordination with software vendors and development teams is also essential.
